Therefore the care and attention your jewellery receives is of paramount importance to us. Whether the item of jewellery you leave with us is valued at just a few pounds or many thousands of pounds. Rest assured each will receive the highest degree of respect and the same level of care. What happens to my jewellery repair?
The jewellery you bring to us for repair will pass through many levels of inspection. Before during and after its repair.
1) At the counter we will discus with you the reasons for repair.
Inspection 1. Our trained staff will inspect your jewellery and point out any potential problems, damage or missing gemstones. Where possible an estimate for the work will be given at that time.
2) Inspection 2. Takes place in our office, where the jewellery item is further inspected and a full description of the article is recorded. Where necessary notes and measurements are made.
3) Your jewellery is now passed to the workshop where it is initially cleaned and Inspection 3. takes place. Again should any problems surface we will inform you.
4) The repair is carried out by our highly skilled restorer. Your jewellery is also cleaned and polished. Inspection 4. Will check that the work carried out is of the highest standard.
5) Inspection 5. Will take place in our office. Again the work is checked for quality & clenliness.
6) Inspection 6. Is carried out by you! We are confident that you will be delighted with the work and the care that goes into your jewellery repair.
