The City of London shield is a brooch I made for the City jeweller Toye Kenning & Spencer and Hicklenton & Phillips. The brooch was hand made in 18ct gold and set with fine rubies and diamonds. With the advent of better casting techniques the brooch was eventually mass produced using Silver, Synthetic Rubies and Cubic Zirconia.
